what i learned from the presentation in Geneva is that NES has so much to talk about the 15 minutes allotted is simply not enough..
as per usual the disclosures and history were reviewed.. then we got into the more interesting stuff.. she was using an updated presentation i figure will be up on the website soon..
early on she stated that although NES has the largest landholding in the GGB it is separated into 3 different projects, the aurea norte, aurea sur and the focus of exploration Ana Paula
the last airborne geophysics extended the ana paula anomaly up to 5 kilometers in length! they have completed 37500 meters of drilling to date including hole 84
the deepest hole was drilled to a maximum depth of 960 meters!
they have a crew on the ground of 38 people..
they have direct title to 1071 hectares and have applied for a “change of soil use” to facilitate future mining and development. environmental baselines are being done now as well as engineering studies by IMC in conjunction with the 43 101…she re iterated that “drilling will determine the cutoff” for inclusion into the 43 101 they want to get the best most accurate picture for the initial report on the breccia body
the 250x150x250 dimension of the breccia imho is very conservative given hole 70 intersected 33m of 12g gold and 10g silver at the bottom of the hole @700m with a staggering 2 OUNCES/ton gold over 20 feet..as an aside that result alone would have made a company 20 years ago..Gillian said the dimensions were “extended considerably” !!!!
she also mentioned they were looking at the underground relationships between the stratabound lower grade deposits and the breccia system..!!!
im no rocket scientist but if they can determine a connection between several of the deposits at depth the ounces will grow exponentially fast..
then time ran out!? grr .. just as the good stuff got going.. lol
what i take away from this..
1)so what if the 43 101 is delayed.. if the drill says there are more ounces than find’em and include’em
2)Gillian and the crew are very bright and if there is a connection at depth they will find it
3) she didnt get to talk about the step out but if there is a connection between the 1 km stepout and the breccia WOOHOOO
4)she coined the term “profitable waste” to describe the lower grade ~1 gram material above the breccia ..hell if we are making money on the strip move over im buying more..
5)dimensions “extended considerably”
6) she talked about intrusion hosted gold in the NE, basically the goldcorp holes..which they stated (non compliant) held 2.5 million ounces.. filos is intrusion hosted.. FILOS!..
NES is a slam dunk, home run, first place in the ms universe pageant,blue ribbon winning, gold medal performance must have stock!
