I was lucky enough to spend some time at the Newstrike Capital offices last week, and can tell you they are on top of every aspect of exploration and management of the Ana Paula project in Guerrero state, Mexico.

Ana Paula is turning out to be much more interesting than I had hoped. I always thought it would mirror the Los Filos mine of Goldcorp, but it has proven to be a much more important asset. The gold grades are very much richer than Los Filos and the size and scope of the breccia has yet to be determined.

There is one drill concentrating on the breccia zone and it is tasked with stepping out and infill to determine the ultimate value of the high grade zone. It is not unrealistic given the dimensions already described for it to contain a very healthy ounce count!

Current plans include continued testing of the breccia and the determination of the extent of the lower grade halo surrounding it!

So far AP has exceeded my expectations and I believe it is currently undervalued relative to its neighbor Torex.
