NES coverage and my thoughts
With results and a big volume day like yesterday ($30 million in buying) im sure a lot of people will be taking a hard look at Newstrike over the weekend!I expect to see a lot more coverage from brokerages and maybe a writer or two?
There is a lot of speculation about the deposit. Let me tell you if it passes muster with Sun Valley and Lukas Lundin im pretty happy with my investment. I have always had the utmost confidence in the management and technical teams and the advisors are top notch!
There is a lot of talk of the high grade holes but the bread and butter of this deposit is the low grade high tonnage porphyry. These stacked layers outcrop at surface (or just feet below) and continue for hundreds of meters and beyond. (still open to depth) Goldcorp has been mining very low grade ore at a very high profit margin at Los Filos!.
The breccia is a new animal and looks to be a very profitable addition to the already profitable porphyry mineralization.
I have always thought we were at 3 million ounces with AP, the additional ounces brought to the table with the breccia really put NES over the top.
We bought another $17K yesterday and continue to be overweight NES with NES at about 60% of our portfolio weighting.
