She comes up with a Monster! After the close on Wednesday, Newstrike Capital announced additional drill results from the company’s 100%-owned Ana Paula Project, in the Guerrero Gold Belt (GGB), Mexico. Included in the new results, Ana Paula produced an intersection of 230.95 m grading 7.51 g/t gold. This was part of drill hole AP-11-37 which intercepted 316.95 m of 5.80 g/t gold. Management also highlighted results from drill hole AP-11-35 which returned 87.22 m of 0.95 g/t gold, including. Newstrike said the reported drill holes represent a cross section of targets from ongoing widely spaced step out and infill drilling that continues to intercept gold mineralization over multiple mineralized horizons. Step out drilling will continue to search for the boundaries of the mineralized envelope at Ana Paula, operating concurrently with planned infill drilling. Management stated that drilling to date demonstrates a robust mineralization that hosts multiple gold-bearing intercepts over wide intervals that starts at or near surface, remains open in all directions including at depth, and shows good continuity both along strike and down dip. The Ana Paula Project is central to Newstrike’s 88,000 hectares in the GGB and forms part of a district scale mining camp that is host to Torex Gold’s (TXG) advanced ‘Morelos Project’ and to Goldcorp’s (G) producing ‘Los Filos’ project.

Another grateful member who listened early to Caliche pounding the table on this one. It was also one of Canaccord’s top picks for 2011 back in December.
Looks like the speculative party is just gettting started on this one. Enjoying the ride…
In short order, the sparks will really fly if they are able to step out hole 37 by another 50 or 100m to the north or south (or both). According to their geological plan, this belt of breccia looks to continue up to the northwest (virgin ground) and down to the south.
From results of hole 35, another deep, thick patch of breccia may emerge to the east – I believe it was 208m of .9g/ton that got barely a mention in the last news release. That looks like it has the potential for some serious tonnage. Holes #40 and 41 should provide some clues.
NES drill map will likely be updated in the next 1-2 weeks to disclose the new drilling sites. I expect some North or South step out holes around #37 and a big step out hole to the East (unless they need to build a road for access)
I sold a big chunk at .03 off the high yesterday……….. Look for the pullback and then I will go back in “ALL IN AGAIN” … Of Course those of us with money still in OLE will have a much larger chunk of change if this PIG ever hits $1.50 or more ?????????????

GOLD Goes up, OLE goes down. This stock has some great numbers, but it has taken “HOW LONG” to prove 3 million ounces???????????????

Arlene, as a five year holder of OLE who has been very frustrated over the years about the sp I still find myself in your camp. Why? History as I have stated before can be an indicator of what Chet will do here. In prior buyouts shareholders were frustrated about the lack of information and sp. In all these cases buyouts came suddenly and at a much higher sp than anyone anticipated.(Peru, Panama, Eskay Creek)
I celebrate with those of you who bought NES and wish I had bought in but I have held on to large shares of OLE because I still believe like you Arlene in this Pig. If dw thinks David Scott or Chet are going to discuss what is going on behind the scenes he is naive. Legally that kind of insider information is not available and understandably so. We won’t know about these dealings until after the fact. In the meantime I am confident the resourcee report (whenever it comes out) will be spectacular based on drill results and high grade deposits….So I am relaxed, exercising and having an occassional margarita. Good things come to those who wait and I will wait as long as it takes.

I am sensing/feeling that the UD isnt this week. DS and other Mgmt out of Town this wk….Hopefully the Volume and the sp will show some news generating. Certainly $1.15 isnt an Indicator. So, we will wait for the May 2nd week. There is rumor that they have been stalling and including 2 months of 2011 in this UD to show 5 mil OZ. A very smart Poster here said that when a Gold Co shows 5 mil or more oz, they go on another Target List for the Majors….. and if they show over 5 mil….. we’ll shoot right past $2 in a Flash. I see it being released next thursday 5/5/11. Hopefully during Mkt hours. ( hear that Chet & Co)

SWometimes it is nice to see and have a good argument, but I do not take it so personally and I thought you didn’t either – Guess I was wrong….. As far as expecting D.S. or Chet to give me Insider Trading info, that you are right would be considered not only Naive – But stupid.
I would just like to know (Except for past track records) what makes you think we are looking at a huge buyout. Is a huge buyout $2.50 a share for you both?????? Is $5.00 a Share a huge buyout……I am not and have not been in this thing to get a small payout payment such as this. When I put big money in, I expect to receive a large return on my investment when I am in for such a long period of time. $10 – $15 a share is what and where we should be on this stock. GOLD is headed North, Way NORTH and several Junior’s have sold for $600 Per Ounce – Do the Math, we are WAY undervalued at this current price (Everyone also knows this is the case until a 5 Mil OZ. report is validated), with this said – We should be at a much higher stock price than what we see today.
YES, I am still in this PIG as I am alos looking at past performances – But, the past is the past and we must also look at what is happening today?? I question some of the ethics and business practices that are occuring right now. They are burning thru large amounts of Cash in a 3rd World Country where they are probably paying $2 bucks a day. Where is the money going??? The Equipment is “OLD” and 2nd hand garbage (Cheap), Where is the money going.

Ole is still in the game. You get too nervous if you watch this day in and out. Chet knows what he is doing. If you don’t have the cash to remain patient get out. arlene, you may have lost the bet on who would get to $2.50 first – OLE or NES. But, NES left a nasty technical gap at $1.70 which means it could go there first before it possibly goes higher, but that may not be for a while. Generally, almost all gaps get filled.
It`s still possible that OLE could be trading higher than NES at some point over the next few weeks…..given the pending news from OLE coupled with some consolidation that may be required by NES.
So hold your head up….

i suspect it may not .. the insider buying for 2.25 million this last week tells me it probably wont fill the gap..
$600 an oz. would give us about $20.88 a share if you use 12 Mil oz..

Arlene, I am glad – I hope you and I both live to a ripe old age of 100+ with tons of money from OLE, NES, TOU, GE,ATT,APPLE, and our lucrative Social Security Checks (Ooop’s – Withdraw that one), retirement Pensions, and other Investments we all have around.
I have been such a strong believer in OLE for so many years – But, as of late it has really frustrated me when I look at all of teh missed opportunities lately that I have passed on to stay in OLE and yes – I am VERY FRUSTRATED with Chet and his poor Shareholder attitude.
I am going to hold on thru this next PF to see how he handles this report and then make ny decision to stay or pull.
As far as todays rise in price, I am glad to see it, but when you consider that the price of GOLD is up over the price that it was in the mid 1960’s in one day – All of teh GOLD stocks underperformed!!
