COPPER CREEK BONSAI UPDATE
Copper Creek Gold Corp. has commenced the planned drilling program on the Bonsai gold project, located in the Eskay Creek area of British Columbia. The first drill hole, BZ10-001 (Bonsai, 2010, first hole), was initiated at 3 p.m. on Aug. 28.
This first hole of up to 13 holes is part of the company’s planned 4,000-metre drilling program. The company is targeting a series of chargeability anomalies which are coincident with anomalous MMI (mobile metal ion) values in Zn, Cu, Au and Ag. These anomalies were discovered during this summer’s exploration campaign directly over an area which data from a previous operator show a large EM (electromagnetic) conductor.These targets are just eight kilometres from Barrick Gold Corp.’s high-grade Eskay Creek mine.
