Gold Hits 1211

Well, gold has hit 1200 again after a lengthy consolidation.  This move should prove to put gold into the forefront of investors’ minds.  With the worldwide economic turmoil hitting Europe the dollar has strengthened but gold has moved even higher.  The flight to safety is now divided between the dollar and gold.  We believe gold will be the hands down winner as a store of value and as the best investment one can make in the coming years.  Gold explorers offer even greater leverage to the gold price, after all finding new ounces to replace ever dwindling reserves is the only way to truly create wealth.  The three best bets we have right now are TUO, NES and TXG.

Teuton Resources controls a commanding land package in Northern British Columbia, known as the “Golden Triangle”.  The early 1990’s saw an amazing staking rush into the area around what turned into the richest gold goldmine in Canada, Eskay Creek.  Teuton staked an impressive number of properties and was dubbed by some at the time as the “mutual fund approach” to the Eskay play.   They have kept nearly all of those original properties, adding and consolidating ground in the most prospective areas.  They now have several high priority properties, one of which had a drill intercept of 241 meters of .08 grams gold!  The hole was drilled late in the season and ended in mineralization, at the limit of the drills depth.  That hole will be re tested early this season to determine the depths to which the mineralization runs.  The adjoining properties held by Seabridge and Silver Standard boast over 70 million ounces of gold and hundreds of millions of ounces of silver combined.  There is a range of gold grades on both deposits but I assure you the Treaty Creek hole of 241 meters of .8 grams is at the upper limit of the average for the deposits.  Some holes in the nearby adjoining properties run as seep as 800 meters.  If TUO can pull anywhere near that we can all retire a little bit earlier.
