Gold 1282 and climbing!
Gold hits historic nominal highs in overnight trading. We knew it would break to the upside after bouncing off 1230 for a week or two.
Figures between 1400 and 1650 are now being thrown around for gold THIS YEAR!
Gold companies and explorers are the next big bubble and it is still very early on, accumulations of the right stocks now could change your net worth immensely. During the 1980 spike in gold there were many examples of explorer companies going literally form pennies to 200, and 500 dollars per share!

You mention Lund and being one of your major holdings. They have not done much as of late, what do you see as their greatest asset to drive their price up?

their greatest asset is getting rid of that crappy property..it cost us nearly 3 million dollars and did nothing for the share price..
we need a better project and i hope that with the ole buyout done lgd will get some attention..

there is definitely something there. economic i dont know but that float has to be proximal to the source.. i know they are trying to figure out where it came form and when they do i think we will all be handsomely rewarded for our patience..
i asked them about REE’s last time i was in the office and they didnt think there was anything there..
the blackfox is in the right environment to host some pretty big deposits.. i hope they can zero in on one soon!

Caliche, you should post this. Might stir some passionate discussion. MDL at Denver. The guy talks like MDL is top dog in the region & OLE is a mere afterthought. “Lot’s of exploration potential”. I say lot’s of moose pasture (goat pasture?). lol. A big chunk of it was let go by Oromin.

socialbernie—-I tend to agree with you , BUT , MDL will be offering an IPO within the next 30 days and this is most likely the start of the hype for them to successfully raise money…by being sucessful in selling the IPO at max dollars… There is also a school of thought that their being sucessful will actually help to raise Ole’s shareprice….Things/events are often not as simple/straight-forward as they initially appear…
Arlene, I agree! I was just struck by the contrast of how little MDL has compared to OLE. But yes, he did a great hype job. If Chet had only done the same in the last few years we would have half the shares with a $5+ stock and Chet really has the goods (with more on the way in just a few days, hopefully). Oh well, on to the future.
By the way, I can’t wait to see the valuations in the the IPO prospectus. Plus I wonder I they say anything about Oromin more than that they own 15%.
Also Randgold made a new all-time high over $100 today. I would love to see them make an offer for Oromin – incredible synergy and IAM seems to be a fading star.
