Teuton Resources Corp. (TUO.V) is exploring the Golden Triangle area of northern British Columbia, which held the famous Eskay Creek and Premier mines, and where other large gold-copper deposits are currently being proved up. Teuton has been acquiring prospective land in the area since 1982 and now controls over 300,000 acres of claims spread across some 30 properties. Exploration in the Golden Triangle is roaring, with over $100 million to be spent this year by the various parties on their programs.
Following the ‘project-generator’ model, many of Teuton’s claims are optioned to other exploration groups, considerably lightening the expense requirements for Teuton. Through this structure the company has been able to effectively keep share dilution to a minimum; despite its many years of exploration and large claims holdings, Teuton Resources only has some 27 million shares outstanding.
